The Power Of Modifying Your Diet To Keeping You In Good Shape

Wouldn't you love it if there was a way to lose weight and without limiting your portion size? Well, you can on the cabbage soup diet. The diet has been accepted by the medical community as a valid way to take off pounds.

Here's how it works. The diet plan denies the body the sugary foods that it has grown accustomed to. This works to make the body convert the fatty content into energy and waste. This results in weight loss. The recipe is simple and includes low calorie vegetables and specific foods taken along with the cabbage soup on different days.

People go on the plan for a fixed number of days, typically about a week. The plan allows a person to eat as much cabbage soup as they would like to prevent them from being hungry. The soup is mostly water so they get the sensation of being full without that added calories. The additional foods included in the diet are all low in calories to ensure weight loss.

You may supplement the cabbage soup with nearly all types of fruit and tea, but no sugar. The goal is to reduce the sugar cravings many people have.

The diet plan also includes a day designated for vegetables only and a small amount of tubers and butter. On this day the dieter should avoid proteins and carbs.

The next few days, the dieter should eat several portions of the cabbage soup. It's ok to include the vegetables and butter, as well.

The fourth day means a chance to eat a banana and milk along with the cabbage soup. On the final days, the dieter can eat proteins such as meat and plenty of water to remove waste through the urine.

The final day of the week, the dieter can add brown rice to their meals. They are to continue eating the cabbage soup, as well. At this stage it's important to avoid any carbonated drinks that might cause the dieter's cravings for sweets to return.
