Effective and permanent weight loss requires a healthy body. There is just no way around this. Pills and potions might give you results, but they usually last only a short time. An unhealthy lifestyle basically guarantees that you will gain the weight back. Have a look at some proven and healthy ways of burning fat.

For a healthy body, you have to exercise. There is just no way around this fact. Begin by slowly developing muscle mass through weight training. Combine this with several cardiovascular workouts every week. You are basically guaranteed to lose weight this way.

You must stop putting unhealthy foods into your body! For instance, foods high in saturated fat are not good for the body. Limit or eliminate them all together. Starving yourself is unhealthy. Don't skip meals, but learn to control your portions. Eat slowly and give your body the time it needs to recognize that it is full. It takes 20 minutes for the brain to signal the body that it is full. Be aware of this and slow down the pace. This is a great method for portion control.

Healthy weight loss means that you must suffer. You must forget those foods that drag you down, and you must subject your body to somewhat grueling exercise. Don't rely on silly things that claim to make weight loss easy. If it were easy, everyone would have a great body. Make the changes, you will be glad you did!
