Working with a Sports diet consultant should be the starting point of any fitness or training programme. A sports nutrition expert will analyse where you are at, target your diet and measure your body composition so that you can track your progress.
The starting point in any sports nutrition consultation will be your diet diary. To fill in a diet diary your sports nutritionist will probably ask you to write down and monitor everything you have eaten and drunk over the last few days.
